Cookies

Cookies are small text files on your computer. A cookie contains identifying information. The cookie is used to make a link between you and the information you have provided on this website. This allows your shopping basket to be kept separate from other users and enables us to automatically complete some of the forms when you subsequently use them.

The creation of a cookie on your computer does not give the website any access to other information such as your email address.

When you shop with us, browse our websites or other organisations’ websites where our adverts are shown,  we will collect:

  • information about any devices you have used (including the manufacturer, model and operating system, IP address, browser type and mobile device identifiers);
  • cookies and information about your online browsing and purchasing behaviour and history on our websites and apps, your location, your product selection, and information about when you click on one of our adverts (including those shown on other organisations’ websites);
  • information when you write a review or ask a question or provide an answer via our F&Q section;
  • details of your purchases with or through us;
  • information about your preferences in connection with our website, for the purposes of enhancing and personalising your experience;
  • CCTV footage when you visit our premises; and
  • information when you “share this” product review via Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels.

Information we collect and how we use it

When you place an order, or use any online form on our website we need to know your name and other information such as your postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and your credit card number and expiry date or bank account details etc. By submitting this information you consent to use of the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy as amended from time to time.

We gather this information to allow us to process your request. The relevant information is then used by us, our agents and sub-contractors to provide you with the service you have requested and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the provision of the service in general.

How long do we keep your personal information?

We are required by law to keep your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which we are using it. Changes

If we change our Privacy Policy we will post the changes on this page and we may also place notices on other pages of the website so that you can at any time check our current policy. If we make any changes that may significantly affect the way we deal with your information, we will also e-mail you to notify you of the proposed changes so that you may have your details removed from our records if you do not agree with the changes.

Password/account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. Number Plate Zone shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account.
